DAY 3 – MONDAY – 3/3/2025

Reflection: Repent from our unclean lips Bible Reading:

Isaiah 6:5-7 (5) And I said: “Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts!” (6) Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar. (7) And he touched my mouth and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for.”

Reflection on the culture that we are living in today:

Today’s people don’t have much time to sit down and fellowship with one another like in the olden days. Many people nowadays spend much of their time day and night on smartphones and social media. Through modern technology, many ministries have expanded and prayer movements have also bloomed and spread globally. The current generation uses IT to build up their business online and life becomes easier as we can also do our shopping online. Food and goods that you order are delivered safely to your door. At the same time, social media is also widely used by scammers and hackers to steal money from people’s bank accounts. Many have lost their money in a matter of seconds. It is also sad to hear some believers who use social media to slander others e.g. their pastors or leaders in their chat groups.

Prayer Focus:

1. Pray first for your own personal repentance: Lord, please forgive me for misusing the smartphone to slander others. List the names of the people you slandered through social media. You have to do this personally. Remember, God will forgive your sins (1 John 1:9).

2. Pray that our smartphones will be consecrated unto the Lord so that it will be used wisely to bring good news and pray with others on Zoom.

3. Pray for the new generation to be well-equipped and well-guided by the Holy Spirit. Pray that they will use their skills in social media to bring the good news to others.

4. Pray that many true stories and amazing testimonies about God can be shared through social media.
