DAY 4 – TUESDAY – 4/3/2025

Reflection: Come out of religious spirit and get into right relationship with God.

Bible Reading:

Isaiah 1:11-18 (ACV) What to me is the multitude of your sacrifices? says LORD, I have had enough of the burnt-offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts. And I do not delight in the blood of bullocks or of lambs or of he-goats.
When ye come to appear before me, who has required this at your hand–to trample my courts?
Bring no more vain oblations. Incense is an abomination to me. New moon and Sabbath, the calling of assemblies–I cannot bear iniquity and the solemn meeting.
Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hates. They are a trouble to me. I am weary of bearing them.
And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide my eyes from you. Yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear; your hands are full of blood.
Wash you, make you clean, put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes. Cease to do evil.
Learn to do good. Seek justice, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
Come now, and let us reason together, says LORD, though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Reflection from the Scripture above:

God is the one who initiated all the feasts in the Bible. God is using the feasts to remind His people of what He has done for them. However, as time goes by, many of the feasts became religious rituals rather than God-centered. Many are faithful in performing rituals but their lives are far from the Lord or have no relationship with God. In the Scripture above, God is calling His people to return with a repentant heart and do what is right before Him.

Prayer Focus:

1. Pray for the believers in our nation that they will have a right relationship with God with the help of the Holy Spirit.

2. Pray for a true awakening and revival to sweep over the churches in our nation that the churches will become a light, hope and refuge for our nation.

3. Pray that some things will start moving and shifting in the spiritual realm during these 30 days of prayer and fasting in our churches and cause national restoration.
