Reflection: The Power of National Liberation

Bible Reading: Isaiah 61:1
Introduction:
Man is precious in the eyes of God. Let us know that as a Church before God, the
Spirit of God is not separate from His Church, His congregation. Sending the Church on this earth by capturing the vision and mission of God and stepping forward to fulfill His plan on this earth by preaching LIBERATION from the prisoners of sin or slaves of sin.

Observations:
God’s mission will be accomplished if the Church is equipped with divine power.    When the Church is sensitive, open and ready to carry out God’s longing, then the Holy Spirit also works to complete His congregation, bringing the news of
LIBERATION through the work of the Holy Spirit. Isaiah 61: I It is the year of God’s Mercy, the year of LIBERATION which is the year of Jubilee where every 50 years, is good news for all slaves or slaves, It is a time of grace, freeing them to return home and return their land.
Spiritually, God’s promise frees man from the captivity of sin, through the work of the Holy Spirit, so that he deserves to have it and his right as an heir of the heavenly kingdom. Are we as God’s Church open, ready and stepping forward to be used by God to bring the news of LIBERATION?

Application:
The Church becomes an Agent on Earth
The CHURCH should decide to step out of the line of the comfort zone, only selfish who have experienced enough of Christ’s saving gift. How do you get out of your comfort zone? That is to return to the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. The Church cannot turn its back on His command. When the Church steps out of spiritual comfort and sees the field has turned yellow which is the harvest of souls (John 4:35), this is the highest calling of the Church on earth bringing the news of Liberation including spiritual healing moved by the Spirit of God.
Do you realize that you are God’s AGENT on this earth bringing the news of
LIBERATION from the burden of sin? Matthew 11:5 Jesus said…the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised and the poor are given good news.

Conclusion:
Acts of the Apostles: 1:8 but you will receive the power of the Holy Spirit, come upon you and you will be my witnesses, in Jerusalem, and throughout Judea and Samaria   and to the ends of the Earth. You are an AGENT BRINGING LIBERATION!

Prayer Focus:
1. For Healing and Reconciliation: Father Healer, mend the divisions that hurt our nation. Bring comfort to those who have experienced injustice and inspire
forgiveness. Guide our leaders toward peace and policies that promote healing and unity. (Psalm 147:3).

2. For Strength in Times of Trouble: Eternal God, be a source of strength for our country in times of trouble. Give courage to our leaders and perseverance to our people. May we face challenges with hope and overcome obstacles with Your guidance. (Psalm 27:1)
