Love That Never Fails

— A Love That Chose the Cross

On Good Friday, the world witnessed the darkest day in history, yet it was the day that unfailing love shone the brightest.

Jesus was betrayed by a friend, abandoned by those closest to Him, falsely accused, beaten without mercy, mocked by the very ones He came to save and finally, crucified like a criminal. But through it all, He never stopped loving.

He could have called down angels to rescue Him. He could have walked away from the pain.
But He stayed not because He was powerless, but because His love for us was too great to give up.
